Magic City“ShangHai”

The name "Magic City" comes from the transliteration of the English word "modern". In the early 20th century, with the influence of Western culture, Shanghai quickly developed into an important trade port and cultural center in the Far East. The Japanese at that time regarded it as a modern city, so they used "modern" to describe the modern appearance of Shanghai. This word eventually evolved into "Magic City", which not only describes the degree of modernization of Shanghai, but also reflects the mystery and charm of this city.
