Medical Disposable Urine Drainage Bag Urine Meter System Medical External Urine Bag
Urine Drainage Bag: The urine drainage bag is a collection bag that securely holds urine. It is typically made of transparent or translucent material, allowing healthcare providers to monitor urine flow and volume. The bag is equipped with an inlet port for connecting to a catheter or urinary tubing.
Urine Meter: The urine meter is an integral part of the system and is designed to measure and monitor urine output accurately. It is usually located between the catheter or tubing and the drainage bag. The urine meter has measurement markings, typically in milliliters (ml) or cubic centimeters (cc), allowing healthcare providers to measure urine volume precisely.
External Urine Bag: The term "external urine bag" typically refers to a urine drainage bag that is attached externally to the body. It is commonly used by individuals who have undergone urinary diversion procedures or have external catheters. External urine bags are designed to be worn on the body, usually attached to the leg or abdomen, using straps or adhesive patches.
Disposable: The medical disposable urine drainage bag urine meter system is intended for single-use and is disposable. This helps maintain hygiene, minimize the risk of urinary tract infections, and ensures a clean and sterile system for each patient.

How do you empty a urine meter drainage bag?
Follow these steps for emptying your bag:
Wash your hands well.
Keep the bag below your hip or bladder as you empty it.
Hold the bag over the toilet, or the special container your doctor gave you.
Open the spout at the bottom of the bag, and empty it into the toilet or container.
How long can you use a urinary drainage bag?
Urinary drainage bags must be discarded every seven (7) days from first use when: • switching from a leg bag to a large drainage bag; disconnecting the drainage bag from the catheter; and • the bag is leaking, damaged, discolored, stiff and brittle or a strong odor persists after cleaning.
How often should a urinary drainage bag be changed?
Replace your bedside bag about once a month or per your healthcare provider's instructions. The Bardia Bed Side Drainage Bag features two hanging options, an anti-reflux valve to prevent backflow and latex-free vinyl construction.
